The years 53 thru 54 seen the exhaust manifold change.
Ok. Didn’t realize this manifold from rear dump to like the one Milo pictured was for a HP gain!
Then the internal change to a higher duration lift cam.
Great.
So that’s all good news.
What changed then from 54 till 59 years for the steady
HP increase from 110 to 135?
Each year they squeezed just a few more HP
anyone know what other changes happened?
Or was is simply additional cam changes?
Head thickness changes (read that as thinner) to boost compression? Same head, just thinner.
