O.T. Zoning---Zero Tollerance

I just received a Civil Complaint from the zoning officer with a hearing date and a judgement against me for $8000 for leaving an unregistered and uninspected vehicle in my yard.
I have received 2 letters before giving me 30 days to comply which I did. I thought there was a 30 day limit, I was wrong.
I spoke with the zoning officer and he may drop the fine to $500
