I was thinking back, trying to remember my earliest encounter with Dodge Power Wagons.
I think it was around 1953 in Idyllwild, CA. My parents had a little cabin there and we used to go whenever possible. The neighbors across the road had a bunch of old military Dodges that served them in various capacities. They plowed snow in the winter and they installed and pumped septic tanks in the summer. They were real beasts and seemed to be able to accomplish just about anything. Of course that is now surprise, right?
