Thanks for the description. I see where it looks like the brush guarding followed the roof line of the cab at one time, It must have been removed as part of the VFD modifications. I have always admired the work and detail that was put into some of the guarding on brush trucks. Maybe one could part with the lights, tank, and hose, but the rest of that utility bed looks very functional for a lot of purposes I could think of.
