This was obviously painted yellow with a rattle can and they did not care too much about overspray. You can see several areas where there is yellow on the black brush guard. The red grill is because they did not unbolt the brush guard to paint behind it. I have seen volunteer fire trucks which had duct tape over holes in the body that were then sprayed to match the body color. There are Earl Scheib paint shops in Michigan but only in the big cities, which may be over 100 miles from the township where the truck was stationed.
