During the 6 lug yrs (61-68) there are only 2 rear axles. The wider one for DRW utes and the narrower one for all others. To change from SRW to DRW u simply swap the hubs. (Been there done that.) The front axle and hubs are the same on all.
During the 8 lug yrs (69-71) the rear axle was the same for both SRW and DRW. Instead, the front axle hub was swapped so that the tires lined up properly. That's why some front hubs stick out further than others in those yrs. I don't know if they also had a wider rear axle for DRW utes in 69-71.
When I say "wider", it was the distance between backing plates, otherwise the inner dually would rub on the ute bed.
