Based on my 1960 W300;
This truck was originally a dually. If you were to mount a wheel on the original dully setup, it would be out of track with the front wheel.-

Some people made up spacers to bring the rear wheel in track with the fronts. Dodge 'did' make a adapter to convert a dual rear end to accept single wheels and be in track with the front. Shown in the picture is this adapter mounted and in place. I have no idea what the Dodge Part Number on this adapter is. Maybe Eric can help on a part number.

These adapters are near impossible to find. I did get 4 of them, 2 for my W300 and 2 for some
'maybe' future project
