Glad there is some maintenance going on, it's been a little boring. The wire lock is driven in between the zert and the plug to lock it, so they are a little difficult to free up. If you have an old ice pick or sharp scribe or small screw driver you have to drive it under the lock to pop it up. You can't just pop up the drag link off the ball or it will pop up as you drive, not good. You have to unscrew the plug to get the drag link off the ball. When installing, you screw the plug in till it seats, then back off to the nearest hole so there is no room to pop it up. Drive the lock between the zert and plug to lock it.
