OT So when did people start bragging about being on food sta

It's so strange. I know someone who is actually bragging and telling people they got on food stamps. 3500 sq foot house, newer car, and Dodge cummins diesel truck. Seems to me years ago, being "on the dole" was not something you were proud of. They turn down hours so they can get partial unemployment benefits also.
