55 MILLION people - fully 1/7th of the population, now receive food stamps. This number has grown tremendously over the past two decades. Yes there are people in need, but not 1/7th of the population of the most fruitful country in the world. The entire western world is just now coming to the conclusion, through crisis, that sooner or later you run out of other peoples' money. We have over borrowed, and taxed and redistributed in every area and every respect. Europe, folks, is on fire right now just for that reason - many do not realize how bad this crisis will get.
