That's what I guy I rented to told me. She was about 25 years old, perfectly capable of working, but "worked hard" to get herself an SSD "psychiatric" disability. Nothing crazy about her that I could see, but I'm sure she could fake it for the shrink. Was a nice deal for the hubby too. Once she got "her" disability, he didn't have to work anymore either. Just tell her "I love you" now and then and she buys the food and beer keeps the roof over his head. By the time I saw the last of them, he was "working hard" to get himself on SSD for a bad back. I swear there are kids these days whose only ambition growing up is to get on disability like their ma and pa as soon as possible.
