an update from theft in oct-08. i'm taking valuable e-space to vent, please forgive me.
quick history was that shop in town was broken into in late sept 08. only distinctive items stolen were six 36-47 dodge radiators, rest of items would never be identifiable. my dear wife took day off work to look for the radiators with intent to save them from the crusher, found hacked out cores at nearby salvage yard. based on yard's id info three individuals arrested.
two of the low lifes "plea bargened" ??? (i assume that means blamed the third), and some how got out of jail w/o trial.....after some lower court stuff, the third was to go to grand jurry trial next monday 2-23-09, but we got call from court today that the trial was not to occure?? after some phone calls, find the low life was "let out on bond " and did not show for pre trial.
local police tell me i should feal good that he is in a lot more trouble than my little theft,,, methanfedo something??? i'm feelin so much better,,, afterall the three punks who broke into my shop and stole my parts to sell for scrap are in bigger troble?
lack of faith in , and selective enforcement of the law is why we moved form town several years before. unfortunately we were unable to relocate our shop...
