would appear law is selectively applied. i am positive that should i have been around to stop the B@E i'd be locked up longer than the theaf if he were ever convicted. i could recount many conversations with city leaders and law where they chose what laws to enforce, and against whome.
final incident that decided we would leave town was when i contained neighbors pit bull when it suprised me in my shop. called local police to come after it, got officer whom i'd talked with on a multitude of occasions about the pit bull running. officer said he would be out to get it but instead sent dogs owner who he new we had bad relations with. dogs owner and owner's father confronted me on my property. after asking them to leave several times, and sharing unpleasant words, i walked away. i retreated while on my own property! i was charged with menecing and eventualy fined for disorderly conduct???
this latest incident simply adds to my lack of faith in the law.
way to much powerwagon space spent on this topic.
