one of many learning experiences.
note the dog owners were claiming i was picking on them because of there "lifestyle". this "lyfestyle " i suppose permits the individual to do many things including trespassing, theft, damage of property and letting pit bull run the neighborhood. owner's father was mayor's neighbor. i had county animal control out several weeks before , he told me the animal should be shot, but he took no action. i'm thinking although justified in shooting the dog i'd have been in jail or would have spent a fortune in legal defense unless it was done anonymosly. consider they confronted me on my property, i walked away to terminate confrontation , but i was fined,,, i'm still trying to figure that out, ..
hind sight suggests about the third time we returned the budding young menice to the owner and suggested methods of containment, we should have instead quietly and anonymosly made it disapear. might have eliminated years of tensions to come.
