I agree with you, David. When I was growing up the laws had some teeth. If a person got caught with the smallest amount of pot or lsd they went to jail. Period. Now we see constant evidence of injustice. Criminals walk, or get out on bond and don't come back.
On the other side of this, back to your neighbor's son whom you suspect of stealing from you....maybe if you left a bag of pot laying on the bench for him, he would be happy to take that and quit stealing and pawning your stuff. :)
