Virus Scan.. what is best to install ?

I need to update my Norton Virus scan, so before I go and spend the money for a program I would like to here from everyone and see what you would install in your system. In the post from Clint Dixon below there is talk of a Mcaffee, Norton, and a firewall ?, what are the +'s and -'s of each one. Thanks , Ken
