You guys are going to think this is ludicrous but I have no virus protection, no firewall & I'm virtually on the Internet all day 7 days a week & in 6 years have only ever gotten 1 virus.
I have limited computer skills & got rid of the virus myself. I'm still running Windows 98 & have never had to reload Windows on this computer since 1998.
I have a cable connection & am constantly told of the importance of having a firewall considering my computer is online 24/7 but why change anything?
I've never since I first bought a computer had to hire an expert for any reason to work on this computer.
Lucky? How can you call it luck after 6 years?
I never open attachments unless I am expecting them & I probably delete more than I open.
I have people tell me how crazy I am & that any 12 year old hacker with any skill could get into my computer...what the hell would any hacker want on my computer I say? Come on in...maybe I can teach a few about Power Wagons!
