Interesting John. When I first looked at the inner I thought the whole piece was machined from steel. If I reproduced them I’d machine it out of 4140 or something strong but it’s hard to imagine that thing breaking. The Selectro….the pieces inside are fragile. Like if you hit one of the splined gears with a hammer it would smash into a million pieces but they’re obviously machined to be strong in operation.
I’ll still definitely take the Dualmatics over the Selectro. The Warns I agree they’ve stood the test of time but I’m sure not buying any for $1600 or whatever they’re going for these days.
