Hi John, There must be more than one version. The inner on mine are smaller diameter than the outer. I’ll put a pic link below. My guess is maybe they made the steel band larger to try to remedy the issue you mentioned however I still don’t understand why they wouldn’t have just machined the inner rather than cast it. Like seriously…even if I only wanted 2 of them I bet they’d be under $100ea but if I was making 1000 of them…I bet they wouldn’t have cost $5 more for the pair?
Have a look….I still need to paint them but I was waiting for my fancy new stickers that go on the housings…not sure I can paint them that nasty blue color however :)
