Today I took the truck on the freeway for about 3 miles and made it earn its way by stopping at Costco. On the way there I had the speedo app on my phone and with out knowing the RPM, ran at 56 for about 2 miles. Did not feel like I was pushing it but would not go any faster. The engine runs rich but we could not get it to run well with the idle mixture leaned out. This is the same with two different rebuilt carbs. Truck is not ready for the 60 mile trip to Holister yet but getting close!!
