Congratulations on your ride.
Does it run rich at idle, or running down the road?
The idle air screw only controls the mixture at idle.
If there is no response while turning the screw, either a passage is dirty(blocked),vacuum leak, or float level too high.
If your rich whole time running all through the RPM range, then look for incorrect float level, leakage internally from float bowl, or
Main jet leaking or incorrect.
