one more thing..my goal is to be able to run 11-18's with with either 4.88 or 4.10's.The 4.88's are in a set of early dana 70's and the 4.10's are in a set of dana 60's with disc brakes.Question..can a 251 be pumped up enough to travel 65 on the fwy with either of these axle sets.Question..can the 230 with the available aftermarket performance items put out more power than the 251 with the limited performance parts available for it? I would REALLY like to keep a flathead under the hood if I can!!Here is the other engine's that I have available ..350 chevy/turbo 400..440 chrysler/727 auto...360/np435.I also have a A518 overdrive that can be mounted to either the 360 or 440..THANKS for RESPONDING!!Remember this will be a daily driver..thanks
