Greetings. I need some help repairing a seam on a rectangular copper water tank in my boat. the previous owner allowed water to freeze in the tank causing it to deform a bit and one of the horizontal seams has developed a leak. I have access to make the repair in the boat but I do not have any experience making this type of repair. I can sweat a copper pipe. but I have never done any copper work. I am in the process of emptying the tanks and then once dry will attempt A repair. Are there any sealants that I could use instead of doing the repair with solder and flux. it is not a pressure tank it is just a holding tank if that helps. thank you for your help regards mannyc
