Hello Manny,
since it is not a pressure tank you can try the old type soldering irons that you heat off a torch or bunsen burner.
hold the hot iron to the copper, get er hot enough to melt the solder, and slap the solder to the joint.
If you are worried about leaks you could clean up the outside of the joint and put some RTV on it as a back-up to the solder joint.
