A week and a half ago I had a problem getting the starter to fit into the bell housing. It turns out that the T245 Casting has a little nub that slightly interferes with the starter flange. I ground down the nub which luckily I could reach and the starter fit fine. Rick from Novato came down for the first start of the rebuilt engine. The starter would barely crank the engine even with 12V battery and would not turn at all with the 6V battery. We removed the plugs and it cranked great. It appears that "he starter doesn't have the "oomf" to turn with a load. Anyone seen this problem? Thanks
