I've got a FFPW fuel tank which has a blocked pickup. There is, apparently, a wad of rust about two thirds of the way into the tube.
I've been running a piece of wire into the tube and then using compressed air. The rust seems to be slowly breaking apart, but I may have a long way to go.
Will a piece of wire go all the way through the pickup tube or will a sharp turn or the design of the pickup stop the wire from going through?
Any, better ideas? I'm thinking that pouring in Evapo Rust might break up the clog. I'm not interested in opening up the tank, at least not at this point.
