Ok, I got the motor to turn to tdc! with all the plugs out. Got it there and set the rotor and cap to the appropriate place together. Put all the plugs back in. And tried again. No fire. The coil is warm to the touch. And again according to the shop manual, when I did a coil test, no spark from the wire to the block.

I called O'Rielleys and they laughed when I said 6v coil. So I wont be able to get a new coil today. When I get a new coil, I think Im going to also get electronic ignition parts to change em over.

Am I on the right path....
