Need heating ideas for shop.....

Rather large steel building where I store my vehicles and sometimes I have to go out there and work and somethines I have to start COLD Diesels. Engine heater would only help the Diesels start and not me working, so I'm looking for something that will heat up the place to accomplish both. Natural Gas? Solar? Wind? Electric? ???
