I have a 20KW, 4 cyl diesel Genset, powers the entire place. Its backed up by a 6000 portable gas genset. And thats backed up by a small solar system. Loosing power at 30 below for a long time is a life safety issue.

Anyone owning a large KW 'Diesel' genset should always be sure its got a decent load on it when running to prevent Wet Stacking.
