michelin XL tires- different tire question

I found someone who is selling some 11.00 X20 XL's, however the date code shows that the "newest" one is at least 6 years old.
The codes of two were 404 and 055. I know Michelin does not follow the typical date code, and I assume that the second one is the 5th week of 2005.
Based on what I have read on this forum, it sounds like 6 years is the max for a radial. However I wonder if that is for passenger car/light truck, or is it all radials?
