I started my 68 WM300 to get it ready for Monday's parade. Ran fine for a minute, then lots of grinding noise from the water pump. I guess the bearing fried.
Question: Any tips on removal, besides gynastics of hovering over the engine, and removing the fan bolts blind? I guess after the fan and pully are off, there are about 5? bolts holding the pump on.
Also, rebuilt the pump or try to find a replacement? Are they available?
I guess no parade tomorrow. Good thing this happened at home.
