Back to the Firefox 4.0 question

My daughter just upgraded to 4.0. What a mess. So I went to the Firefox website and they say right now you don't have to upgrade, but in a few months 3.6 will be history and everyone will be forced to go to 4.0.
Does anyone know anything about the Safari browser that Mac has for Windows users?
