That is just what a dealer told me so cant trust that source I guess ;/). still dont know why you think a closed knuckle 70 is not strong as strong as a 60? trunion bearing designs last for looong time if maintained and a 70 is simply bigger and stronger than a 60. In th old closed knuckle 70s I did see one with a broken pinion once and anothher with a broken axle. But never played with later stuff with 60s in the front either.
