i was looking at some old allis chalmers engines , these were big ass engines connecting rods were 0ver 30 feet long . and the cranks had a throw of TEN FEET!so they moved the mega piston nearly 20 feet . the pistons were over five feet in diameter and turned a whopping 75 RPM . my thinking was these monsters had about 7 to one compression what if you up the compession to that of a diesil and heated the air in the cyliner to 1100 degrees, and like a diesil inject 10 gallons of water ,wouldnt there be steam and would the expansion of the water to steam move the piston ~ J and no i am not drinking just thinking
