Before I got hurt, I had a detective agency here in Chicago. Besides the domestic junk all PI's have to do to eat, we did background checks for employers. We also set up security for businesses, which included hiring & firing.
Granted times have changed and hopefully technology improves, but, when we looked into drug screens (never mind the constitutionality of it), at best, they were 20% acurate, and there were more FALSE positives than true positives.
What does that mean? A person could either lose or not get a job. Someone could go back to jail when they are truely innocent *yes, it does happen).
These people then have this new monkey on their back, & it don't come off, EVER! I ain't naive to say that all who take it are innocent, but a large # are. More than they want ya to know.
Besides, what ya do on your own time is your own business. You ain't their slave inspite of the way the powers that be are trying (to late, it's already a done deal) to change things & reinstitute the caste system, or feudal system.
