Leaving out the welfare stuff, and all the people who make it their life's goal to get on disability as soon as possible like their old man did, drug testing for employment is the lazy way out for the employers. What counts in a job is how well the man does his job, not what he does for fun on his own time. If he can't do the job because he's stoned or hung over, then fire his ass for not doing the job. It doesn't really matter WHY he can't do the job. If, on the other hand, he smokes dope on Saturday night and shows up ready and able to work on Monday morning, why should his boss care?
