In 1965 1.5 Dodge again redesigned the trucks, but not as radically as they did in 1961. Some of the wheel bases changed again, but fewer then in 1961.
The bed was redesigned again and it now used what is commonly known as the wide tailgate.
The bed is a welded bed like the earlier Sweptline beds, and it still has a steel floor.
This is still in what is sometimes called the Sweptline era, and it is still not a Sweptside bed.
On to the 1961-71 Utiline bed...
