I built the vertical pipe you see as a aux. resivoir for the brake master cylinder. I just tapped a fitting into the bottom cap, and ran a line down to a fitting on top of the master cylinder. It makes one man bleeding of the brakes pretty easy! The top cap fits on snug, but it unscrews by hand.
I also mounted the coil next to it. I have heard that you get a better spark if the coil is mounted anywhere except on the engine. Any truth to this?
I added 13 pictures of the '52 Power Wagon at the link. You can see the new tires and powder coated wheels and rings. I kept the old tires on the original wheels and put a set of chains on all four, in case we have a bad winter! Also you can see the new motor installed, and the third mount for the a-frame on the right fender is easily visible. Since the pictures were taken, I pulled the grey box off the side and added a second matching spare tire (dual sidemount spares, just like the Packards of the 30's!!!!) and the "Power Wagon" emblems off the old hood. Next is to get a good set of cowl lights, and get the secondary electrical system working properly.
