I have my 52 B-3 down to the bare frame now and I have noticed that the left fenders, running boards, bed side, springs and axle ends are more rusted than the corresponding ones on the right side.
This truck originally came from N.Y. State, and my theory is that the driver side was exposed to more winter road salt as the spreaders tend to dump more to the center of the roadway in following the plow than to the road sides. Any other opinions on this?
