call a couple of days ago from the man in Puyallup, WA., (Don), who was selling trucks and parts on CL. He had been talked about many times on the forum. He called to tell me that the County had showed up the previous Monday (5 days earlier) and took all 178 or so, trucks from him. They hired a contractor, who took a week hauling them away. He was not allowed on his own property, "for his own safety", by the local cops. All trucks were taken to a local wrecking yard and marked for crushing. He will get nothing back, and will likely get a huge bill from the contractor too. On the last day, after the last truck had been removed, the cop said to Don... "
Doesn't that look sooo much better?" Referring to the empty property. Don had been collecting, buying and selling, etc., for about 50 years. Now, all gone....
He will be attempting to sue for lack of due process. This, my friends, is your government working for you.
