Sounds sad but if it’s the guy I think it is...I don’t blame them. The guy I’m thinking of has had the same vehicles for sale for 5 years & never sold one & wouldn’t sell parts. He was asking about 500% more than any normal person would pay & my guess is that he had many, many warnings before they just showed up & towed them out.
Don’t get me wrong...it makes me so mad when government involves themselves in our business but that guys yard looked worse than the worst offending wrecking yard that I’ve ever seen. Probably if he’d made some effort to organize & clean up they’d have cut him a certain amount of slack.
I’m betting he had neighbours that had been complaining for years & if he was as rude to them as he was to me when I asked him to please limit his ads on Craigslist to one at a time, then it doesn’t surprise me that they shut him down.
...but that’s just my $.02 :)
