Carryall's been running for about a solid year now with no real issues. Been driving it all over. Even up to Canada.
Last weekend we drove it to an antique car parts swap. Then pumpkin patch for one of the kiddies. (Not so much a kiddie anymore, she's in collage) Heading back, bombing down the highway, the engine switched off, poof! Luckily I was able to coast to a wide spot in the road by an old barn to pull off.
Checked this and that. Had gotten lazy and didn't bring any tools! Ended up with the Tow-of-Shame home. Took lots of hours and many bucks.
Turns out my almost new fuel pump fell apart. The pivot pin came out and that was the end of that. The pump was bought new about a year ago? Year and a half? Should have lasted longer than that.
Back into garage we go.
