Do these weights seem right?

On the "old time gallery page" regarding the 1/2 ton truck lineup.

Weight: 3595lb (WC17), 4775 lb (WC4), 5070 lb (WC15), 5640 lb (WC18); gross weight: 5950 lb (2699 kg, WC12)

I was thinking that there seemed to be a pretty big difference in weights between an
open cab (WC4 @ 4775 lbs) and
closed cab(WC12 @ 5950 lbs)

Over 1200 lbs difference?

Don't seem right at all.

Anyone have other info on the weight of a closed cab WC 1/2 ton?

I ask becuse I own a dual axle car hauler that I use to trailer my wc12 and it just seems "over burdened" on those dual 3500 lb axles. Run of the mill car hauler. Well built. Questioning the capacity of 3500 lb axles true working weights

Yes it's "rated" at a 7k lb trailer with the dual 3500 axles (5 lug/ 15" wheels)
But it sure seems like the truck makes them tires squat!!
