Really appreciate the help Vaughn! So if I remove the 6-48 dog ear from the throwout bearing shaft I can slide the shaft to the left a little bit, which also centers the throwout bearing. This puts the left end of the shaft under the pedal mount. This would also line up all of the linkage correctly. The problem is that the left side casting of the 6-48 dog ear rubs slightly on the underside of the pedal mount. If I spaced the mount off of the bellhousing by a washer's width, it would clear and everything would function. I just don't know if there's a reason why it's rubbing. I attached a link with your pic and the casting portion that's rubbing colored red. On yours, does this portion of the casting fall under the mount? If so, then I think something may be bent or I need to grind a little of the mount or dog ear or both.
