Ok, mine is about 1/8 clearance between the mount and lever. The fork shaft seems to be about 1 inch longer than yours so I'm not sure you have the right fork.

1. Verify that the fork number matches one of the two in the previous post.

2. Install the transmission. The throw-out bearing sleeve fits rather snug in the fork and that will tell us where the lever will be placed to see if we are on or off alignment.

Check for wear on the fork shaft where the bushings ride. If you have to much wear, about half the thickness of the bushing, the fork will lock against the transmission and you'll experience clutch drag, you'll need a new fork.

If the fork is correct, then you could have a slightly bent fork shaft or pedal mount which will have to be investigated.

If you haven't, install a new bushing in the bellhousing and a new one in the flange (bolts to side of bellhousing).
