Jim,do you have an idea for monitering the pressure in your steam resivoir ?(boiler) there will have to be something, if you choose to inject water in to your boiler system it will have to be at a higher pressure than the steam, keeping the pressure low will simlify the process and lessen any dangers of explosion. on the old keck there was a water injecter to put water directly in to the boiler to keep from uncovering the fire plate, which was extremly dangerous. but having said all that, I love the idea of a steam operated rotissire.
