Perhaps only those of us who own both can judge the trucks fairly.

The 98 Ram 2500 24V diesel I own is the ONLY new vehicle I have ever wanted, and is my first brand new vehicle. No regrets on my end, it does the job nicely.

Lets not compare apples to oranges. Maybe the new Dodges will not last 60 years, but how many old Power Wagons do you see with 300-500,000 miles on them? Most folks couldn't hack driving them 40 miles an hour on lumpy tires, so they never racked up any real miles.
