I have a 1949 VM 3000. I know most of you guys are purists and I do not want to offend anyone. My wagon is so ruff and loud that it rattles your guts out. I built mine with a 360 and put a NV4500 five speed in it so it could be a daily driver. The trouble is my kids do not even want ot ride with me because it is so ruff. Has anybody out there done any suspension modifications? Are there updated springs that ride better with out comprimising height? Is there anythiing that can be done with the doors for a better fit? I have carpeted and insulated it, but it is still very loud.
