Its very probable that your old springs are worn out, sagging with little to no arch. Conditions like this will give you a very poor ride. In fact springs sagging with little to no arch can easily break. You may want to consider 'NEW', not 'NOS' springs. Keep in mind that Power Wagons are heavily sprung so they can carry a lot of weight, quality of ride was not a design factor.

Steven Fowler posted this a while back. You may want to give him a call and discuss your ride. As we speak, front springs for my Bumblebee are heading my way from Steven. Here is a link to his post;

Doors can be adjusted to close tightly. I use Q Pads in my doors, firewall etc. These are thick, sticky one side sound deadening pads 12" x 12" and can be cut to any size you wish. Many auto body supply shops carry sound deadening pads under different trade names.
