Have a carryall with a 360, stock tranny and transfer.

Debating redoing the 360 vs putting a chevy v8, auto and transfer case in. More familiar with chevy swaps from my old jeep building days.

Would love a diesel, but just not wild about the options that fit. A bigger bay, and a 6bt would be a no brainer. I recently rode in a guys Land Cruiser with a beamer diesel and it was pretty damn sweet. But I am barely smart enough to spell bmw. ;)
